(a) The failure of the Commission, the Commissioners or a Hearing Officer to perform any act within the time periods set forth in this chapter may not be construed as a waiver or a derogation of any rights, powers, or authority of the Commission.

(b) The Hearing Officer may reschedule the hearing if there is an equipment malfunction. If such a malfunction occurs, WSSC is not liable for any expenses incurred by a party as the result of such rescheduling. (REG-LGS-GC-2014-002 § IX)
