(a) To provide guidelines for issuing field orders to contractors to ensure compliance with sediment control violation notices issued by the Engineering and Environmental Services Division.

(b) To provide for suspension of utility erosion and sediment control permits for noncompliance with violation notices.

(c) To provide guidelines for issuing field orders to contractors to stop work due to suspension of the utility erosion and sediment control permit.

(d) To provide guidance for issuing change orders to contractors to modify the utility erosion and sediment control plan. (ENG 86-01 § 1)
