(a) The Chair and the other two Commissioners representing the same county as the Chair shall consult with the General Manager. Together they will identify a sponsorship organization and donation amount. Two of the three Commissioners must vote to award any sponsorship.

(b) The foregoing process is repeated for the Vice Chair and Commissioners in the Vice Chair’s county.

(c) The Chair and Vice Chair shall decide together in consultation with the General Manager sponsorships outside either county’s allotments. If this group fails to agree on the disbursement for these sponsorships, the awards will be brought to a vote before all Commissioners.

(d) Sponsorship requests received by the General Manager shall be forwarded to the Corporate Secretary. The General Manager has the discretion to make a recommendation on any sponsorship forwarded to the Commissioners for approval. The Corporate Secretary shall disperse the recommendations to the Chair and Vice Chair and provide the General Manager with the Commissioners’ decisions. (COMM 06-02 § V)
