The Code Enforcement Section will initiate the field investigation of the subject food handling establishment(s) for compliance with WSSC Chapter 14.25. The investigation of the property must be initiated by the Code Enforcement Section within 30 days from receipt of request. The investigator shall establish and maintain a detailed job file of the investigation to include photographs, videotape of the plumbing/on-site system if required, notes of the plumbing system layout, the presence of grease abatement systems, evidence of regular system maintenance of the grease abatement system, a log of all communications with the owner(s), proprietor, plumbers, etc. The investigator shall charge his/her investigation time, for repeat violations, against the assigned numeric job number for each establishment to facilitate expense accounting. The numeric job number shall be provided to other Commission organizational units requested to provide support in the investigation. (CON 95-05)
