1.72.010 Definitions.
This section is included in your selections.
(a) Except as otherwise provided in this chapter, the definitions in WSSC Chapter 1.70 apply to this chapter.
(b) In this chapter, “employment” does not include:
(1) Participation in the activities of a nonprofit charitable, religious, professional, social, fraternal, educational, recreational, public service, or civic organization, unless the participation is the provision of professional services or advice for compensation other than expenses; or
(2) Caring for a member of an employee’s household as defined in WSSC 1.70.030(p). (Res. 2022-2306)
