3.25.070 Meter registering low usage.
This section is included in your selections.
(a) Where a meter registers usage that is at least 40 percent below the historical ADC, WSSC may issue an estimated bill in accordance with WSSC 3.25.050 and may:
(1) Attempt to verify the meter reading; or
(2) Test the water meter in accordance with the American Water Works Association standards.
(b) If the low reading is verified, WSSC shall:
(1) Cancel the estimate; and
(2) Issue the bill based on the actual meter reading. (Res. 2019-2220)
