(1) Outline the responsibilities of the Office of the Inspector General concerning fraud, waste, and abuse;

(2) Provide for centralized reporting for the WSSC employees and other stakeholders of the Commission to report, confidentially, suspected occurrences of fraud, waste, and abuse, without fear of retaliation, to the Office of the Inspector General; and

(3) Outline the responsibilities of employees in connection with the reporting of fraud, waste, and abuse allegations.

(1) Used in lieu of the WSSC employee rights, employee liaison, or communications regulations or standard procedures that address individual rights and employee complaints, issues, concerns, opinions, ideas, and suggestions where confidentiality may not be relevant; and
