2.03.010 Definitions.

(a) In this chapter, the following words have the meanings indicated:

(b) “Engineering degree or program” includes:

(1) Civil Engineering:

(i) Environmental;

(ii) Sanitary;

(iii) Structural;

(iv) Geotechnical;

(v) Water Resources;

(vi) Fire Protection;

(vii) Transportation;

(viii) Project Management; and

(ix) Construction Management;

(2) Electrical Engineering;

(3) Material Science and Engineering;

(4) Chemical Engineering;

(5) Mechanical Engineering; and

(6) Computer Science.

(c) “Full-time enrollment” means enrollment in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester or as otherwise defined in the university or college handbook or written policy.

(d) “Permanent residency” means continued residency in either Montgomery or Prince George’s County, evidenced by an unexpired driver’s license, government-issued identification card, voter registration card, or other proof of residency deemed acceptable by the Commission. (Res. 2022-2307)
