These guidelines are established as a standard procedure for notifying designated parties of significant events. Initial notifications will be handled by employees in the Customer Care Emergency Services Center and the Production Department Systems Control Division.

This chapter addresses the notification of all significant events in the Customer Service Team and Production Department, with the exception of drinking water system contamination reporting procedures (which are addressed in a separate standard procedure).
