11.115.020 Scope of policy.
(a) This chapter is intended to address the following:
(1) How new sewer segments, laterals and connections are processed, scheduled and constructed.
(2) Material selection and connection to existing structures.
(3) Quality assurance/quality control procedures prior to, during, delivery and storage of materials and during construction.
(4) Site condition requirements.
(5) Examination of materials and construction site.
(6) Construction methods and requirements.
(7) Field quality control testing.
(8) How information regarding new sewer segments and connections are filed/stored/input into the database.
(b) Construction of sewer extensions and connections is necessary to serve new development, to serve properties abutting existing sewers, to serve areas with failing septic systems, and to replace or relieve failing infrastructure.
(c) WSSC will maintain an active database of sewer construction performed in the past and current contracts scheduled for bidding and future construction. (CUS 07-11 § II)
